Contractions

Contractions (short forms) like I’m, he’s show the pronunciation on informal speech. They are common and correct in informal writing, for example friendly letters.

Nouns vs. Verbs

We use the singular tenses of the verb for a singular noun.
Example: Ahmad/He/She -> has/works


We use the plural tense of the verb for plural noun.
Example: They/We/My parents -> have/work

Kata Nama Am

Kata nama am ialah perkataan yang merujuk kepada benda, orang, tempat, haiwan, perkara atau konsep yang umum sifatnya. Kata nama am ditulis menggunakan huruf kecil kecuali pada permulaan ayat.
Contohnya:
kereta (benda)
pelajar (orang)
sekolah (tempat)
burung (haiwan)
bola sepak (perkara)
ilmu (konsep)
